What exactly is a Timing Channel Event, you ask? I originally *borrowed* the term from Accelerando, a scifi ebook back in 2009. Advanced galactic intelligences were trying to run Timing Channel attacks on the Beckenstein Bound and on the underlying ultrastructure of the overall universe.

A Timing Channel event (new CT term about January 15 2010) is when I run into typically Chinese cameos running gags on me, calibrated to try and fun me or much worse, just because I tried to handback one of their lebs typically in the Big Grotto. The Chinese and their sympathizers/lackeys were an occasional irritant until I figured out how to outmaneuver and psych them out.
